Cut The Sugar, Cut The Starches

I can’t stress enough to everybody that’s embarking on a fitness and wellness journey, that when you’re looking to lose weight and revamp your taste buds you must introduce them to real food and alkaline food.  The two easiest things that you can do to get to that place quickly is to eliminate starches and sugar.  As a matter of fact, I challenge all of you to try to do this for 21 days, no starches and no sugars. The starches are quite clear as to what I mean by that, your bread, rice, pastas, and also foods that contain gluten, even quinoa, things like that. Cut it all out for the 21 days.

So what you’re going to do in this 21 day challenge is cut out the starches and the processed sugars. You will replace them with healthy fats, like your avocados, coconut oils, olives, raw nuts and seeds, ghee butter, grass fed beef, egg yolks. This will help balance out the glycemic levels and keep the cravings at a bare minimum.

When it comes to sugar, you can have sugar from fruits only, but no baked goods. Even super foods that have maple syrup, obviously agave, you should always avoid regardless. You can satisfy your sweet tooth from a little bit of honey and fruits, and keep it really simple. I promise you, you will see a significant change in your cravings for anything sweet, because usually it’s the sweets and the starches that throw our whole body chemistry off for craving more of those types of foods.

You will also see some of the weight come off within those 21 days, but more importantly, we’re going to reboot the motherboard in the computer, and get your body to stop those cravings for starches and processed sugars.
