I highly recommend intermittent fasting. It’s a game-changer. I’ve had clients recently lose 30, 40 pounds in less than a year. It has nothing to do with the amount of food that they’re eating. Some have diminished their caloric intake, whereas others are still eating the same amount of calories. Why intermittent fasting helps so much is because we all have stored fat in our bodies.  All of us do.  There’s brown fat and white fat, and brown fat is the good fat that actually helps the body burn calories. The white fat is that cellulite that stores in the gut area.

Most of the time the fat that is stored in the gut area is connected to cortisol.  Again, when things get wacky, the body tends to store it. It’s that fight or flight thing again. So what intermittent fasting does is help train your body to utilize that stored fat for energy. This is where it’s become a game-changer because you’re still able to eat what you normally eat. However, I highly recommend making some changes.  One must understand the concept that food is medicine.
