You Can Not Out Exercise Poor Nutrition

people dancing in a group class

NBC recently aired a segment on how more and more Americans are exercising using apps, gym memberships, etc. However, puzzling as it may sound, the obesity rate is quadrupling and is on the rise. “What’s going on here?” is the million-dollar question. More and more people are exercising, but more and more people are gaining weight. Unfortunately, I see that in gyms on a daily basis. I’ll see men and women running and walking on the treadmills; hoodies on, sweating and working out. They do seem to be working hard on exercising, however, I can see that they are not really losing but actually gaining. The only thing I could equate that to is what are they putting into their body. What is the quality of their nutrition? As we get older, there’s no way around it. We cannot out-exercise poor nutrition. It’s impossible!
